Q Flooring Systems was appointed to install a new PermaFloor® Magnesium Oxychloride Flooring System at Morgan Cars’ London facility. Completed within a seven-day programme, the project involved specialist substrate preparation and the installation of a heavy-duty seamless flooring system designed to provide exceptional durability within a demanding automotive manufacturing environment.
Scope of Works
- Mechanical preparation of the existing concrete substrate
- Application of specialist primer for optimum adhesion
- Installation of a 15mm PermaFloor® Magnesium Oxychloride Screed
- Power trowelled finish for enhanced strength and durability
- Application of protective seal coat
- Continuous quality control throughout the installation
The Challenge
Working within a live construction environment alongside multiple trades required careful planning, restricted-access working and close coordination to maintain programme milestones.
