Project Overview
Q Flooring Systems was appointed by ISG Retail Ltd to deliver the specialist wall and floor tiling package as part of the Halle Square refurbishment within Manchester Arndale Centre. Working over a five-month programme, the majority of the installation was completed during night shifts, allowing the shopping centre to remain fully operational.
Scope of Works
- 1,700m² large-format porcelain floor tiling
- 140m² porcelain tiling to staircases and landings
- 400m² feature wall tiling
- Mechanical preparation and floor levelling
- Schluter trims, movement joints and tiled skirtings
- Precision detailing to stairs and architectural features
The Challenge
Delivering high-quality finishes within one of the UK’s busiest shopping centres required careful planning, precise coordination and nightly handovers to keep the centre open for trade each day.
The Outcome
The project was completed safely, on programme and to an exceptional standard, creating a durable, modern finish designed to withstand heavy footfall.
